{"id":5003,"date":"2019-01-17T23:44:32","date_gmt":"2019-01-18T04:44:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.albuca.com\/calcium-oxide-root-fillings\/"},"modified":"2019-01-17T23:44:32","modified_gmt":"2019-01-18T04:44:32","slug":"calcium-oxide-root-fillings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.albuca.com\/fr\/calcium-oxide-root-fillings\/","title":{"rendered":"Calcium Oxide Root Fillings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"entry-title fusion-post-title\">Abstract:\u00a0 Calcium oxide, available for decades as a root canal filling material, has been little used in recent years due to its lack of radio-opacity, and an expectation that it would lead to an excess of root fractures.\u00a0 In this study, four general dentists submitted 79 cases of endodontically treated teeth whose roots were filled with either Biocalex 6\/9, or Endocal-10, and rendered adequately radio-opaque with yttrium oxide.\u00a0 57 teeth were available for follow up at three years.\u00a0 Criteria for success were comfort, function, radiographic signs of healing.
